4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Bottle, courtesy of Mogens (whose RB nick Iíve forgotten, but heís not really that active anyway...) - cheers man! :-) Pours a hazy golden orange body with a perfect, big creamy white head. Awesome looks. Nose is slightly perfumy honey-soaked floral tones, hints of pepper and straw. Very fresh and inviting. Taste is bitter herbal flowery hop tones up front, then peppery yeasty tones, straw and smooth pale malts with hints of honey and heather. Mouthfeel is fresh, with a level of carbonation providing just enough resistance to be interesting, while at the same time being deliciously drinkable. What an incredible session beer; it has the freshness of saison and American pale ale, while retaining the smoothness and complexity of a Belgian ale. Particularly impressive considering the relatively low ABV. Absolutely stunning; too bad itís not available anymore.

Bottle from De Molen shop, at hotelroom. Hazy yellow colour with a chunky white head that doesnít last long. Smells a bit sour, cellar, dusty, also hoppy, green twigs and some apricots. Taste as you would expect from the smell. Fizzy carbo, dry mouthfeel, thin to medium body.

In bottle at Craigís. Pours a blonde colour with a thick white head. Aroma of musty Brett, wet cardboard, lemon, caramel, grassy hops and alcohol. Similar flavours with heavy carbonation and a foamy mouth-feel. Alcohol is well balanced. Nice and dry to finish.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
33 cl. bottle @ home. Procured from De Hopduvel in Gent. Date is totally incomprehensible & partially unreadable. Bottle looks pretty old to me. I am guessing that this is 2011 Vintage. Hazy citrus, pretty big, milky egg-white head. Nose is mellowed USA citrus hops, semi-BE yeast, milky, sweet white bread, lemon verbena, slightly milky, lemongrass hops,Ö Taste is bitter citrus, lemon verbena hops, touch floral mixed with milky, sweet white bread semi-BE yeast, bitter floral, touch ginger finish continuing with the yeast note. Carb. is pretty high but fits together with the yeast. Pretty interesting stuff, still not doing badly for age. Nice stuff.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
330ml bottle [4.5% abv as per label]. Hazy pale golden colour with very huge frothy moderately lacing white head. Intense floral wheaty and yeasty aroma, a spicy touch. Taste is prickling, floral, wheaty, intensely yeasty, lemonade-like malty basis, a touch of coriander. Complex crossover Ale, could as well go as Saison or Wheat Ale. Very nice!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle with an ABV of 4,5 pct: Cloudy looking pale golden beer with a huge but shortliving white head. Aroma is fruity/spicy with notes of orangepeel, yeast, candisugar, lemongrass, a touch of brett and spices like coriander and maybe nutmeg. Very crisp taste, fruity, spicy, bitter-sweet, with bretty notes and a nice, dry hopbite leading to medium bitter finsh with a long duration. Very easy to drink, a loveable thirstquencher.
