Draft. Pours a hazy and yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is hops with grapefruit, citrus, flowers and some sweetness. The flavor is rich and follows the nose closely. The palate is bitterness and some sweetness. Overall a really good beer, with a high level of complexity and balance.

Light hazy golden with a large rocky white head. Interesting aroma with honey, spices, a bit of barnyard, root beer, hops and wheaty bread notes. Honey. barnyard and spices are more evident in the flavour. Light and refreshing mouthfeel.

Draught at Řlbaren, Copenhagen
Hazy deep blond color, with the most beautiful whipped cream head. Very nice, fresh, aroma of lemon ice cream (lemon, lime, milk cream); chewing gum. It has both the strong character of spicy yeast and citrusy hop, with a very dry mouthfeel but that is quite smooth, and taking into some astringency in the end. Very satisfying.

ekstedt (4590) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAY 29, 2011
Bottle (33 cl) from Ölbutikken, Copenhagen, Denmark. Shady golden, medium creamy white head. Peppery, earthy, and phenolic aroma, with floral hops. Light to medium bodied, wonderful creamy, moussy texture. Semi-dry with a lingering soft bitterness. Very Dupont-like, and almost as good as the original.

Bottle at home. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a white head. Smells of floral hops. Sweet and dry with lots of floral hops aromas. Also some resiny hops aromas with tiny hints of dust and pepper. Medium to full bodied. High carbonation. Long dry and hoppy finish. Kudos To you, Jens!!!

unmarked bottle courtesy of the one and only papso, thanks! this should be called ’seasoned vetran-bazooka joe edition’. wow, the bubblegum here is huge and more prevelant than in any other beer ive had. i quite enjoy that flovor, so its quite fine with me. very interesting and unique brew. the banana, clove and lemony esters take a far back seat to the bubble gum here. sweet, you can smell the chalky sugar wafting off of it when you open the bottle. drinks very well. has a nice bright spicey note upfront, then to intense bubblegum, then to a more more bitter and balanced finish bringing it all together nicely like a great dj mixes unusual genres together. well done.

Rating #524, yet another non-easter brew brought to Easter Brew Tasting

A hazy yellow beer with a good head. Aroma is redcurrant, elderflower and flowery hops. Dry "american" flavour, oranges, elderflower, flowery hops (cascade?), raspberries. Very fresh. Soft and light palate. Very easy to drink, but yet so complex. A great one from Ungstrup. Congrats on the 20,000 ratings.

Botted 500ml. -Courtesy of Marko (thanks!), shared with heavy and him.
Murky orange/golden coloured, big white head that stays for a while, pleasant perfumey tropical fruit nose. Pretty same in the taste, perfumey tropical fruit, decent hoppy and light peppery with notes of spices. Nice bitter finish. Cheers Jens!!!

Bottle courtesy of Papsoe (enormous thanks to him and Jens!), shared with ogivlado and heavy.
Poured a misty golden-orange body (heavy’s gf called the colour "dry" if I’m not mistaken :D), with a huge slightly off white head that went away slowly. The nose is peppery, loaded with tropical fruit, perfumey, nice and slightly grapefruity. The same was transported to the taste and who could mind at all! Peppery tropical aroma hop, soft, light hoppy grapeseed bitterness near the end, going into the aftertaste. Damn tasty stuff, worthy of no. 20000, and again, damn glad to have tried it!
