Flaske, 33 cl. Diset, næsten mudret gylden med et lavt off white skum og en flad fremtoning. Honning, æbler og nedfaldsæbler i næsen. Smager af forbavsende lidt og ikke af æbler, let kemisk. Mere avec end øl

Bottle at Barley Wine, Copenhagen. Pours clear, orange-gold with a small, white foam head. Tangy lemon and sweet, stern doughy bread nose. Interesting flavor, not too sweet but the sugar is there, some light tangy citrus, maybe ripe tangerine, a bit of faint yeast, some zippy orange essence. Medium to full bodied with average to lively carbonation. Faintly warming to finish with some more subtly tangy dough and citrus. A little bit boozy, even though it lacks any sting. Interesting.

Hazy to muddy yellow with a medium, staying, creamy, white head. Aroma has maltiness, some clear honey and mild green apple. Vinious notes. High prickly carbonation, kinda watery palate. Flavour is vinious, sweet green apples, light zesty. Malty and fruity. Very warming, could have done with less alcohol.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of straw, malt, and a bit of apples. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, apples, and wet cardboard, leading to a stinging finish. Odd. Thanks yespr for sharing.
