Golden color with small head. Flavor is a little sharp in taste from the alcohol. However, it has a nice aroma.

Bottled Amber with nice head. Aroma of dried fruits, alcohol and hop spices. Flavor of sweet malt, orange, alcohol and hops

Light coppery colored with hazy appearance. Little yellow head. Sweet aroma with some raisins basic BW cardboard, some fruits also present. Medium bodied. Flavor has raisins, vinous tone and some barley-w tone, still not too excellent one in category.

Bottle. Clear amber colour with large creamy off-white mostly lasting head. Hoppy and fruity flavor. Sweet flavor with notes of alcohol. Bitter finish.

Hazy dark amber with huge off white lasting head. Sweet fruity aroma with hoppy and orange notes. Sweet flavor with orange and hoppy notes. Strong alcohol notes. Finishes dry and bitter.

Nice clear orange color and a bubbling baige head. Aroma is mainly fresh cascade hobs with some minor notes of oranges. Given i had a cold at the time, the body was abit thin for a Barley, overall the flavor is very refreshing though, again mainly bitter hobs with a small toffee sweetness. All in all i cant help liking this one.

Comments: A sweet, flowery, fruity and brightly citric BW that does not have the deepest malt profile, but remains convincing and slick.

Bottle, bought @ Kolding Vinhandel. Pours a light hazy orange amber with a fine creamy white head. Aroma is lightly sour and tart, some caramel and a little ’wet dog’. Very full mouthfeel. Flavour is much better than the aroma, some oranges, maltyness, chewy bread and quite warming. A little bit of hops at the far end.

Kobenhavnske Oldage, May 2006 Not sure whether this was draught or bottle. I noted this down as 8.5%. More in the orangey hoppy Barley Wine mould than the rich fruity. Not too sweet with a quite pronounced sharp bitterness. However, the paucity of my notes suggests it didn’t make a huge impression.

CBF07 sample from bottle. Pours hazy orange with some white head. Aroma of barley and sweet. Fullbodied. Flavour of sweet malts, alcohol and some bitterness into the finish.
