COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed for the royal wedding. A fusion beer based on Belgian golden ale and honey ale. First gold, saazer and cascade hops along with Leatherwood honey from Tasmania gives a strong but soft beer. The hops reminds you however, that you are actually drinking beer.

Sample from 50 cl. bottle. Hazy, orange colour with a creamy, lasting off-white head. Nice one. Sweet aroma with honey - herbal and sweet, caramel malts, fruits and light floral hops. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes sweet with honey and fruits. Well balanced between hops and honey. Enjoyable.

Medium offwhite head. Deep golden body with light carbonation. Deep syrupy strawy caramelly aroma with fruity oily notes. Dry-sweet fruity honeyish caramel taste with alcoholic strawy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry-sweetish earthy strawy syrupy aftertaste with linoleum honey notes. Strange sharpness to the aftertaste. Really nice. Harmonic and balanced, and also quite subtle and unusual. The direct honey taste is mostly gone, but the honey has given the beer some interesting flavours. (0.5l bottle, Fish & Beer, Copenhagen.)

Copenhagen beer festival. Clear gold beer. Sweet and spicy. The sweetness is honeyish but this is more than offset by the dry spice (ie not in a good way).

23-APR-2011, bottle. Hazzy orange, low off-white head. Honey is evident. Cascade...? Well, it is pretty old. Best before 09-MAY-2011. Perhaps the aroma used to be better? Nice little bitternesson the taste with a little sweetness as well.
