Brewed for the royal wedding. A fusion beer based on Belgian golden ale and honey ale. First gold, saazer and cascade hops along with Leatherwood honey from Tasmania gives a strong but soft beer. The hops reminds you however, that you are actually drinking beer.

Bottle. Golden/orange color. White head. Perfumed and fruity smell. Sorry to say I didn’t recognize the honey, but it was the last beer this evening, so I guess that’s why. Not much written down about the taste either, other than it was a nice, quite fruity beer with a balanced bitterness to the end. Guess I have to re-rate this one day. (050923)

Have a very special parfumed smell and taste almost like vingums. But very nice looking label. The honey from Tazmania is not well used.

(On tap) Dark orangey golden with a light, creamy head. Slightly hazy. The Tasmanian honey do add some subtle flavours but not much sweetness. Incredibly balanced. Very nice brew. 110705

UPDATED: NOV 4, 2006 Bottled. Malty and herbal aroma, quite hoppy. Light amber color, hazy, off-white head, very nice lace. Very malty, herbal, hoppy, bitter to rather bitter in the finish, very sweet and of course lots of honey (although it took me some time recognize it), very full. Thanks Dalle! re-rate: Had it again but same rating and nothing else to add.

Slightly hazy light orange colour, small creamy white head. Smooth and well-balanced aroma of cookies, honey, nuts and wet grass. Soft fruity flavour of honey and peach. Wonderfull soft mouthfeel with a light oily touch. Fresh aftertaste of nectarines and honey.

Light hazy warm orange color with golden glow and fine light yellow-beige head. Nice sweet aroma’s of flowers, honey and a faint touch of bee-wax. Nose is sweet spicy and has also hints of bread-dough and seeds to feed a canarie bird with. The taste is round and has this strange sweet-dry caracter. It has touches of fresh cutted wood, is light honeyed has touches of flowers and butter-caramels, fresh mirabelles, and some herbal accents of nettles, violettes and some smooth hops. Afthertaste is mild and light bitter. Thanks Jeppe for this fine Danish beer.

Hazy orange colour. Fast disappearing white head leaving a lace on the rim. Aroma is a bit sweet and malty, some hints of honey and alcohol too. Sweet taste with hints of honey and hops. Leaving it with a nice sweet warming aftertaste. This is a nice beer.

33 cl bottle; Hazy, Amber color with small head that collapses quickly. Nose is bready, sweet and malty with some yeast. Taste is sweet with hints of vegetable. Big mouthfeel with low carbonation. No bitterness in the aftertaste. A nice beer which is not your typical blonde ale.
