Ungstrup (11338), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 23, 2004 A hazy orange beer with a beutiful light brown head. The aroma is of fruit, wood, honey, and hops. The flavor is light yet powerful, it contains notes of honey and wood and ends on a nice hoppy dryness. This is a very nice honey beer, since the sweetness of honey is not present at all - only the aromas and flavors. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden May 17, 2004 Sampled draught at Dansk Ølfestival. Hazy, deep golden. Distinct honey aroma. Sweet, but not at all cloying. Soft and near full bodied with gentle mouthfeel. Notes of tobacco and pleasant late bitterness. Complex and well balanced. Papsoe (10241), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 20, 2005 (On tap) Dark orangey golden with a light, creamy head. Slightly hazy. The Tasmanian honey do add some subtle flavours but not much sweetness. Incredibly balanced. Very nice brew. 110705 yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 13, 2007 CBF07 sample from tap. Pours hazy orange. Nnice honey aroma. Flavour is soft malty with honey above. The honey lingers long into the finish. joergen (6529), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 6, 2004 Amber colour with a small off-white head.
Sweet metallic aroma with notes of honey and hops. Malty flavour with notes of peaches and a bit alcohol, well balanced bitterness.
Unfortunately it’s quite expensive.
