Papsoe (25088) - Frederiksberg, - FEB 4, 2013
Bottle 25 cl. Pours a cloudy deep amber with an off-white head. Some overripe fruit and caramel in the nose. Rich body, burned caramel, a little spicy floweriness and a warming alcohol finish. Subtle phenols. Nothing spectacular but actually quite enjoyable. 040213

Sample from 25 cl. bottle. Unclear, brown colour with a thin, off-white head. Sweet aroma with dark, dried fruits, overripe plums, alcohol - maybe somewhat oxidized - wood, vinous notes, yeasts and spices. Rather complex. Taste is sweet. Medium to full body, thicker texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes sweet, fruity and with warming alcohol. Rather complex - good.

larsga (6177) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 31, 2013
Medium offwhite head. Deep dark red body made hazy by lots of little floaties. Alcoholic spicy toffee aroma with caramelly butterscotch notes. Sweet earthy butterscotch and toffee taste with alcoholic spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish, slick, hot mouthfeel. Dryish earthy syrupy toffee aftertaste with spicy fluffy notes. Interesting, and the spices are nice, but it’s a bit too alcoholic and butterscotchy. (Butterscotchy is a word, right?) (0.25l bottle, from Fish and Beer, Copenhagen.)

Bottle 25cl from Henrik thanks. An amber brown beer without head, nose is very oxidized like with intense barley grain notes as for high alcohol German bocks. Aroma is very sweet with grapes notes, some vanilla, caramel notes, prunes, Belgian yeast, candy sugar. Pleasant
