Bottle. It pours a nice, almost clear, golden body with a slightly small beige head. Grainy and malty nose with some citrus and pine. I expected more hop-aromas from it, as I remembered it as a really hoppy one, but that was three years ago. Sweetish and malty flavor too, with a good hoppyness giving citrus and pine flavors and bitterness, but as with the aroma, lower than expected. Full-bodied. The finish is sure on the hoppy side, but the sweet maltyness is present. It’s a nice beer, that’s for sure, but it felt a bit unfresh, and I remember it better. (080509)

From Vignoble, Aarhus, DK Bottled An IPA with no edges - a good example on that it does not have to come with an explosive bitterness

0.66 l bottle. Amber color with small head. Dry, hoppy, lemony, caramelly and a bit dull aroma. Rounded caramelly flavor with flowery, fruity and citrusy hops. Firm but not strong bitterness. BB date is five months ahead but this tastes oxidised.

Skinnyviking (5956) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - DEC 29, 2007
Bottle. High creamy and long lasting off-white head. Hazy dark orange body. Somewhat muddy aroma of roasted malt nuts caramel and grass. For an IPA this is a very mild one although the long bitter aftertaste reveals a good deal of hops. Low carbonation and caramel contributes to this impression.

66cl bottle: Orange amber with a white head. Hoppy - sweet & bitter aroma. Flowers, peach & malts. Very refined bitterness. Smooth, well rounded - very nicely balanced. Citrus freshness. Very drinkable IPA.
