Dark amber colored with little yellow head and cloudy appearance. Medium sized yellow head. Spiced, flowery and licoricy aroma with mild chocolate and some berries with sweetness and thin alcohol. Medium bodied. Flavor is not as sweet with licorice and mild chocolate in start, aftertaste dries strongly with hops and mild alcohol.

Jun 18, 2008 Bottled. A deep red beer with a slight haze under a medium bubbly tan head. The aroma is sweet with notes of hops and grapefruit - is it Cascade? as well as notes of malt, caramel, and light spices. The flavor is sweet and very spice - cinnamon and cloves, on a malty and caramel back ground, leading to a dry spicy finish where the hops mixes in with a slight touch of grapefruit.

May 10, 2008 0.66 l bottle. Slightly hazy dark amber color with small creamy head. Perfumed, candyish, berryish and raisiny aroma. Sweet, malty, worty, candyish and berryish flavor with notes of wild strawberry, licorice and vanilla. Warming alcohol in the finish. Rich fairly pleasant flavor.

Dec 14, 2007 66 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a dense off-white head. Aroma is slight malty and slight spiced. Flavour starts sweet caramel malty and with a slight herbal flavour. Finish holds a mild malt to herbal note. Nice.
