Lightly roasty and somewhat ashy. Sweetish with light to medium body and soft mouthfeel. Noters of peat and caramel. Medium bitterness. Papsoe (10243), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 24, 2005 (On tap) Rather dark amber than red - hazy. Incredibly well structured and stable beige head - almost shaving foam-like. Fresh, flowery nose from the First Gold hops. Rather distinct sweetness, but not cloying, although it’s not really balanced by the soft hops. Indeed lovely and aromatic. Irish Ale in style, but less dry and less bitter. 220505 yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 30, 2007 CBF07 sample from bottle. Pours slight red/amber. Aroma of malt and slight berry note.
