Dark amber pour with a medium tan head. Slick palate, medium body, slightly bitter finish. Taste is yeast, raisins, malt, a bit of coriander on the aftertaste. Hops become apparent after a few sips.

On tap at Gravity poured a clear reddish brown with a small lasting tan head. Aromas of toffee, spice, caramel and light earthiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of toffee, caramel, spice and light yeast with a smooth dry lingering spiced caramel finish.

Pour on tap at the brewery, dark reddish brown pour with off white head, aroma brought notes of caramel, toffee, slight bubblegum, lemon, slight raisin, dark fruit notes, hints of spice in there. Taste is a mix of dark fruit, caramel, toffee, slight raisin, hints of spice, bubblegum, and a hint of banana, finishing fairly sweet.

Tap - description states it is a dubbel - looks like one - flavor is dry and nuttyup front, followed by sone fairly rich, semisweet malt tones of toffee, hazelnut - some warming spiciness late (cinnamon, nutmeg) - some banana and clove - dry finish of clove and toasty malts - pretty good.

Taster at Brewers Rendezvous. Pours a medium, white head, over a clear amber (SRM 10) body......nose is moderate spice, hints of caramel.....taste is wintergreen, light clove, toffee/caramel, hints of hop bitterness....mouth feel medium, carbonation low. This falls into the tremendously broad category of a Belgian Ale, but really did not meet the description at the Rendezvous. It was a technically well done beer. BJCP 8/3/14/4/7

At Epic Beer Fest 2013. Clear bronze under a thin beige head. Aroma is sweet and earthy with a light bubblegum tone. Flavor of the same; earthy, bubblegum yeastiness, light herbal bitterness, funky toffee.
