Brewed only in the spring, the Irish Style Ale is a special blend of four types of malted barley and three varities of hops. This ale is characterized by it's sweet malty flavor and refreshing light scent. The rich red color is very distinctive to the origins of this style of ale. Available February 1 - May 30

Pour is clean amber with a few bubbles moving through, and a small off white head. The aroma is earthy and malty. Smells like a sweet malt. Taste is what the aroma promised. Pretty straight forward, not a heavy beer. The finish is a bit long for a beer of this body. An OK amber.

On-tap at the local BWW. This pours a dark amber color with a foamy, beige head. The aroma is very malty. The texture thin with average flavor. Not bad, but nothing all that special either.

Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a dark copper with a half finger of quickly disappearing white head. Aroma of caramel and nuts. Taste is somewhat metallic and follows aroma. Light bodied with a thin texture. Soft carbonation and not much of a finish. Meh, drinkable but not super special.

Not a bad red ale. Aroma of fresh malt and a nice bite at the end of the mouth.

Bottle. Lovely amber red. Caramel/grainy nose and caramel flavor with nuts, intreptinol, and brown sugar. Metallic aftertaste with a metric ton of water. Higher alcohol content is undetected due to the watery mouthfeel. Meh.

12 ounce bottle from a sampler pack. This pours reddish brown and has a nice creamy beige head that never disappears. A steady layer of foam on the side of the glass. An aroma of rich malts that are Irish, and some earth. That malt is tasted along with citrus hops and fruit. Strawberries late is interesting. The feel is creamy and rich. This was easy to drink and the fruit flavors grew.

Slightly hazy, brownish-red pour with an off-white head. The malty aroma has hints of caramel and nuts. It has a light body with a slightly sticky texture and average carbonation. The taste is sweet with a mildly dry finish.

Brownish red when poured. Light pleasent sent. Decent flavor but a little heavier on the carbonation. Overall pretty good to beer.

On draft at the Univ of Wisconsin. Pours reddish amber with an ecru head. Malty aroma. Some light caramel notes. No evidence of hops. Smooth clean finish.

Draft to taster. Looks decent; a completely transparent whiskey with off-white lacing. Smells and tastes of mild hops and malt with an average mouthfeel. Forgettable.

Metallic, super thin body. Must force carb it. Didn’t know you could make a beeer like this.
