COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Moderately hopped with a subtle malt flavor, our lighted ale is recommended to those new to the world of craft brewed beer. Clean and crisp are often used to describe this great thirst quencher, and it makes the perfect partner to all of our seafood dishes.

Sample at the brewpub. Very clear, light applejuice color and aroma, extremely smooth and bland, just a hint of hops at the end but really just nice, clean, sweetish water.

Aroma aromatic bitter hop notes, copper malts, crisp and clean. 7-
Appearance clear dark gold with medium off white head. Sparse lace.
Flavor and Palate : Medium lighter bodied. Nutty frontal feel. Chewy malty textures with crisp lemon hop side. Plenty of flavor. Thirst-quenching brew. This one has more flavor than you would expect from given name.

On tap at Brewpub. Pours a clear straw yellow. No head. Minimal aroma of grass, and citrus. Flavor is mostly grain with a touch of sweetness. Not much to it.

On tap @ Brewpub. Pours light yellow. Very light with not much going on, just a little more grainy than your usual macro. I didn’t like this.

On draft at Brown Dog Cafe, Lake Placid. Poured clear gold with minimal head retention. Slight bready nose. Flavor is sweet malts, corn, and a bit grassy. Thin, smooth, and crisp with good carbonation.

draft- not a fan, not much in the way of flavor which is probably why this is reccomended for newby’s to the craft brew scene. This brewery has a lot more to offer than this- thin, some corriender, not much else.

Tap at TAP NY 2007: It was listed as Adirondack Gold Ale, so I’m assuming it’s the same thing. On Nitro pour. Pours golden with a creamy dense head. It’s fairly creamy with a solid profile, but it’s simple. Straw like aroma. and lots of grassy bitterness in the flavor. Forgettable.

(Rating #547)

4 oz. sample. Clear blonde with a thin white film. Grassy, malt aroma. Fruity malt beginning, turning corn like middle-finish. Clean, crisp, everything you’d expect from a mainstream macro, with this beer having some life to it. I think this is good for its style. Sweet, very mild hop presence, I kinda enjoy this.

4 ounce sample at the brewpub. Light grassy aroma which is uninteresting, but to style. Transparent blonde/yellowish color with a small fizzy white head. Slightly biscuity to start with a touch of sweetness. Some grassy notes. Relatively boring and thin. A beer made for the BMC swilling tourists.
