COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This delightfully hefty “double bockbier” is a beautifully complex winter warmer with a sweet, nutty and pronounced caramel palate. The strength is obtained from a generous malt bill of a variety of imported German malted barley, a double mash, and long, cold lagering. Prost!!!

Poured a clear reddish brownwith a lingering ring of amber foam. Aromas of brown sugar, carmel, cinnamon and light dark fruit. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of brown sugar, carmel, fruittiness and light spice with a smooth lingeing carmel finish.

A very, very nice dopplebock here. One of the standout beers on my beer trip in the Sierra Nevada area. Aroma is melted carmels, molasses, light tangerine, and toffee. An assertive malt profile with loads of caramel, maple, light coffeeand raisins.
