Draft @ Great Basin. Pours a hazy, golden-orange color; off-white head with decent lacing; nicely hazed, pulpy. Very nicely resiny; oranges and dripping citrus fruit in the aroma; beautifully juicy, if just a touch reserved for how much I want this to open up. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: intensely chewy, resiny, oily oranges and citrus and lightly earthy bitterness; lively but creamy carbonation; intensely drinkable, very generous fresh hop character. A beautiful wet hop ale. Lengthy finish: lingering viscous hop oils, orange bitterness, with pine and citrus finishing. Alongside the Icky, this is far more refined, drinkable, smooth. The best thing Great Basin’s made so far.
