"very hoppy, in the nose and flavor. a local favorite. darker orange, great strong aroma and hoppy (cascade and others) bitterness. similar hop profile tho Hop Ottin IPA from Boonville. 2011-finally bottled, but itís mellowed, to a fault. a little to tame and a touch watery. 3.4-5 on tap, <3 in the bottle (and now can). oh well..."

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Smells sweet for an IPA but I like it. Tastes unassuming up front but the hops kick in afterward. Highly drinkable IPA. Had to dock a point for the aftertaste, it's a little funny.

1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a half minute. There was some light trickling lacing sliding into the beer.
The smell was a burnt breadiness with a burnt citrus hops.
The taste was exactly the same with a slight cardboard aftertaste.
On the palate, this sat about a light on the body with not much of a sessionability about it due to the off taste.
Overall, this "highly evolved" beer maybe is devolving. I went through an entire sixer just so it wasnít just the one beer, but it was all the same. I didnít care for this at all.

Draft at Jerniganís. An average West Coast IPA heavy on the sweet malt side of things. Bit of tropical citrus, a bitter finish. Not too exciting.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: JUN 26, 2014 On tap at Pour 24 in New York, New York, Las Vegas. Displayed a clear, amber/gold, with billowy, soft white head foam, and very frothy, spiraling rings of clingy lacing. The nose was perfumey citrus, mainly grapefruit, with slight dankness, and a touch of pine. Light bodied, with decent carbonation, the taste was basically dry, lingering, moderate astringency, with the citrus somewhat diminished in the flavor, no malt sweetness, and texture that was a bit. thin & watery. Started strong, but waned into the finish. Still a decently drinkable, basic IPA.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Clear light yellow amber. Light hop aroma with a slight cream to the smell too. Nice hop bite that the malts balance and then leave a little of the bitter grain taste behind.
