A finger of head on a hazy, medium straw colored body. The aroma is a mild grapefruit and lemon. The taste has a moderate pine bitterness balanced nicely with a malt backbone. The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation. Here’s a solid IPA that isn’t overpowering on the IBUs.

Medium orange and clear with a moderate white foam. Aroma is some citrus, but more floral in the nose and flavor. A medium bitterness in the finish.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a clean and shiny copper. The head is off-white and thin with a short life. The aroma is floral perfume with some bread and light tangerine. On the tasting I get bread malts and floral hops which lend to mellow tangerine. The finish is moderately dry and slightly spicy with a bit of a piney bite.

Bottle shared at Travlr departure tasting. Poured into a snifter showing honey yellow with two fingers of clean white foam. The nose shows basically nothing. The palate is light bodied and lightly carbonated. Flavors of subtle pine resin and a medium zesty spiciness throughout with a final light bitterness.

Bottle to tumbler Consummation: Taste of orange, lots of hops, sap and grapefruit...damn...not really good Adjunct: Aroma of pine tar, light caramel, grapefruit, and perfume; nice clear light orange with a frothy white head

Draft at the Reno pub. A copper beer, thinly topped. Average body. I’d be more apt to call this an Amber than an IPA, more caramel malt than hop. But an easy, well made drinker. (#6288, 8/25/2016)
