Aug 26, 2008 A dark brown clear porter with reddish hues, and a thin moka head. A nice light chocomalt aroma with light hopping. In mouth, a nice chocolate malt with bitter burned toasts. Medium bodied. A nice porter. On tap at brewpub, August 2007.

Jul 14, 2008 Black body with an off white head. The were some nice ruby highlights. The aroma was chocolate with some roasted coffee. The taste was light coffee with some soybeans and dark chocolate. Decent.

Mar 14, 2008 Tap @ brewpub: Dark brown with reddish tints. Earthy, peaty feel and taste with a little cola. Pleasant smoky and light charcoal aroma. Not bad.

Jul 5, 2007 Pours a clear dark brown with good tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, nuts, smoke, and a hint of chocolate. Flavors of sweet malt, chocolate, coffee, and some roastiness. Mouthfeel is a little thin.

Jun 4, 2007 On tap @ Great Basin poured a clear dark brown with a small diminishing tan head. Aromas of roasatiness, coffee, vanilla and a hint of cocoa. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of bitter chocolate, coffee, light vanilla and roastiness with a smooth lightly bitter finish.
