COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Light, crisp and refreshing. A traditional German-style hefeweizen.

(Draft: Great Bear Brewing Co. in Wasilla, AK) Not a great German hefeweizen, but at least it tastes authentic. Light wheat flavor, some very mild spice and banana, and only mildly sweet. Lightly spicy nose, but mostly just a "stinky" wheat aroma (and I mean that in a good way). Light body, but not watery. Dark yellow in color and fully cloudy as expected for the style. The white head settles to a patchy sheen. Decent.

On tap at the Great Bear. Mild aroma. Orange/yellow cloudy appearance. Kind of a funky taste, a bit sour and bitter. Not your typical Hef.
