had during a trip to alaska. nice and refreshing, that’s what i remember. wish i would have taken notes on this one to get more in depth without there being other ratings out there. worth a try but guess it’s not that memorable.

20-Jan-08 (Draft: Great Bear Brewing Co. in Wasilla, AK) Lots of flavor to this usually dull style of beer. Lightly sweet, wheaty flavor with a slightly fruity character, but balanced by gently bitter hops. Medium in body, so not your thin watery American wheat beer. Sweet, wheaty aroma. Dark straw to pale golden in color with medium haze. Small whitish head settles to a wispy layer. Overall, for a boring style of beer, this is solid. It has good body and lots of flavor, and the balancing use of hops really sets this beer apart from its peers.
