COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Great Crescent Blonde Ale is clear, slightly malty with medium hop aroma and relatively low bitterness and has a somewhat sweet, dry finish. Our Blonde Ale is based on a German Kölsch style beer using British Ale yeast for the fermentation.

This beer was created as an easy-drinking, approachable, malt-oriented craft beer and the style is being produced by many American microbreweries. This style is usually designed as the entry-level craft beer, however Great Crescent Blonde Ale is well appreciated by people who are already familiar with and enjoy many other styles of craft beer.

Can. Grainy malt and orange aroma. Clear gold with a ginormous off-white head. Barley malt and weedy dandelion greens hops flavor. Medium body, moderate carbonation.

Can: Pours a golden straw color...maybe with a touch of orange to it. It has a big white, frothy head. Aromas are light...but gives me some grassy, earthy aromas with a touch of lemon. Taste is also pretty light. Mostly get that earthy grassiness. It’s good, but not the best blonde I’ve had. Approachable is the best way to put it, as they do in their description.

Beer Agent can. 11/27/14. Pours translucent straw color with a too-big white head; it’s too much and I’m worried that there might be something wrong with the beer. Aroma is lightly fruity, earthy, spicy, subtle floral and grassy notes; simple but not bad. Taste is actually quite nice; crisp, fruity, surprisingly bitter, grass, fruit rind, sweet, floral, some yeast and a touch of oxidation ( I don’t think this is deliberate); finish is short and sweet with just a hint of bitter fruit rind. Medium bodied. Medium-low carbonation (once the head settles). Resilient lacing. Not bad.

Can courtesy of shrubber85, thank you sir! Clear pale golden yellow color, white head. Aroma of white pepper, hay. Taste is bitter peppery hay. Easy drinking.

Can: Pours clear amber, with a large, foamy, off-white head. Honey, barley malt aroma, soft pretzel... Flavour is grainy, dry bread-heel, a hint of salt. Tasty, but an odd, dry-dusty feel to it. Darker and richer than a typical blonde...(ale, that is)

16 oz can to half-pint glass (shared with the Mrs.). Looks solid; a transparent golden orange with white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells malty and grainy. Tastes like it smells, but with some light hop notes as well. Average on the palate. An okay easy drinker.

Golden and opaque. Great fruity nose smells like green apples. Nice malty/grainy flavor with a touch of sourness in the finish. Recommended.

Alright, I had it as part of the on tap "Flight" sampler selection at Brewriver GastroPub - It’s a yellow, high white headed blonde ale that is very drinkable and repeatable, but I found it lacking in body and it’s just not my favored type of beer.

Araoma of orange and malt. Hazy orange color with a thick creamy head and foamy lace. The taste is hard to follow - begins with citrus and malt, then turns sour, taking that late into the finish when citrus returns. Different, but not particularly palatable. Not recommended.

16oz can. Big foamy white head, that fizzes loudly. Surprisingly amber / orange colored. Hazy body. Some lace. Weird tangy metallic taste. Aroma of over-ripe oranges and wet pennies. Weird bite to this. Smooth texture to the stronger carbonation, more dry finish, but some stickiness in the aftertaste. Some zesty sweetness. Light funkiness. Disappointed
