2.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 jakebergs (13) - Kentucky, USA - DEC 12, 2012
The nose was great with lots of fresh cherry. The taste is very light in both malt and cherry flavor.

16oz can, mildly over-filled, it seems. Airy fizzing white head. Fades to minimal. Mildly hazy orange - red color. Nice natural tasting fermenty cherry aroma. Carbonation is stronger, with a soft, tingly texture. More dry. Good lightly tart sweet taste. Authentic, but not excellent

Draft. Poured hazy reddish amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate sour cherry malty aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium cherry flavor with a medium sour & sweet finish of moderate duration. Drinkable fruit beer.

Pleasant, clear light amber color, no fruit or anything outstanding to speak of in the aroma. Nice tart cherry flavor early on,mbut is overwhelmed bynthe malt sweetness before the finish. Refreshing, but unremarkable.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 DavoleBomb (1467) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 21, 2012
Poured into a snifter. Never heard of this brewery before, so I’ll anxious to see what they got.
2.5 A: Hazed orange ruby red color. Three fingers of beige, fizzy head. Retention is poor and no lacing is left.
3.0 S: This has the cherry, but not much else. Sweet earthy cherry, minor caramel, yeastiness.
2.5 T: Again, cherry and not much else. Maybe some caramel and a touch of bready yeast. Not bad, but unimpressive.
3.0 M: Ligher medium body. A little bit too much carbonation. Minor creaminess. Smooth enough.
3.0 D: It is what it is. Probably aimed for female consumption. Simple and straightfoward. Still, no straight up fruit beer can hold a candle to the fruit twins.

4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 Itzjerm (598) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - MAY 28, 2012
Very mild aroma no cherry very slight. But I’ll give credit that this is real cherry not the fake extract thing. Cherry is very very strong in this beer. If you don’t like cherry, you’ve not tried to add berries to a beer and have it keep flavor, you will not appreciate what is happening in this beer. It is some tart, but the cherry stands out... They use a unique european bitter cherry. This makes an awesome Cherry Ale / Lambic. Taste is wonderful sweet cherry. Easy on the palate. This is one of the most unique beers i’ve found in the US!

Cloudy dark golden amber with light head covering and light lace. The pour was heavy on head, sucking on which produced the most pronounced tart cherry taste. The drink is light malt with a touch of cherry (even the color doesn’t show red). The taste is soft and reserved to the point of having very little taste at all. I’d heard this one isn’t a "fruit beer," and that’s correct - in fact, it’s hardly a beer.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 bluejacket74 (1012) - Reynoldsburg, Ohio, USA - APR 21, 2012
16 ounce can. Served in a nonic pint glass, the beer pours a cloudy amber/red color with a huge off-white head. I couldn’t get to pour the whole can into the glass at first as the head fizzed up so much. It took a while for the head to settle down before I could pour the rest of the can into the glass. Aroma is nice, but weak. The brew smells like some tart cherries and sweet malt. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, it tastes like tart and sweet cherries, and some sweet malt. However, just like the aroma, the flavor is nice but weak. Mouthfeel/body is low/medium, it’s a bit slick and creamy but has too much carbonation for my liking. Not bad, but just average overall. I’ll have to revisit this one in the future since I have no idea how old or fresh this can actually is. $2.75 for a single.

Pours deep amber and head is very retentive. Nose is toasted grains, light caramels and light refreshing fruits. Flavor is sweet malts toasted grains, and sweet and refreshing fruits. Light and dry finish. Pretty nice. I’m surprised.

Can. Light tart cherry and barley malt aroma. Reddish amber color with giant head. Lightly sweet red cherry but very little malt flavor. Not bad.
