COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is brewed as a traditional English Style Porter. We use the best malts and hops to create a distinctive American interpretation of this classic beer style. Our Porter stands on its own as a great beer, then we add one more ingredient to make it truly unique. Coconut is added during the boil to give this beer a nutty flavor that blends perfectly with the style.

I think the base beer isn't very good, the coconut didn't help. Reminds me of crappy home brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can from stfun. Pours black with a thick tan head. Aroma is slight coconut with roasted malts. Flavor is a nice porter with coconut leaking through.

Can. Strong and odd roasty metallic aroma as well as a bit of chocolate. Black with a large, quickly dissipating tan head. There’s that odd metallic flavor, just as in the nose. Also some roasty chocolate. I didn’t really taste or smell anything like coconut. Medium body, light carbonation.

Had as part of the "flight" sampler at the Brewriver GastroPub, and this one was immediately grabbed by my girlfriend after and my initial tase... this is a wonderful, malty and hoppy beer, dark and rich.

Draft. Black, brown head, solid curtain of lacing. Aroma is big and roasty. Nice creamy mouthfeel, tons of coffee grounds and bitter cocoa.

Can from Party Town. Pretty decent coconut porter. Its flaws are not from the use coconut. It’s actually tasteful and not overly sweet. The coconut is natural and suppliments the porter flavors rather than overtaking the beer. However, there are notable metallic qualities that make this a little less smooth than it should be. The malts are decently roasty, but are more like soy sauce and instant coffee. All in all, not too bad though.

Fairly typical porter aroma, without much distinguishing character. Oily body but a smooth drink. Flavor is in line with the aroma: balanced without much roast or sweetness standing out. The coconut is done extremely well. Not over the top but adds a nice nuttiness on the finish.

tap at Brewhaven festival - Pours dark brown and has a very mild chocolate malt aroma. The flavor is sweet with a bit of chocolate. It’s thin bodied. I’m wondering where the coconut is and why there’s some band aid character present. Not very good.

Thanks to Chris. Odd roast and a touch of coconut. Very odd and dry. Acrid.
