On tap in Madison. Pours a hazy yellow with a rocky white head. First sips seemed really lacking in body to me, but it filled out as it warmed a bit. Some nice spiciness developed, making it an interesting pale.

Oct 4, 2008 Draft at Great Dane (downtown). Poured a hazy light orange color with a white head. Some lace was left behind on the glass at the end. There were whiffs of orange marmalade, clove, and hay, and while pleasant, the aroma was subdued overall. I really had to get my nose in the glass. Light bodied, dry, and a little tart. Pale malt and lemon dominated the flavor with an odd papery note emerging at the end.

Aug 3, 2008 Citrus and straw / yeast aroma. Cloudy golden with thin white head. Citrus, herbs, and malt balanced. Mild bitter finish.

Jul 19, 2008 At the brew pub. Decent ale with bit of the typical spices you’d expect from a "Belgian" style: coriander and banana. Not bad.
