8/14/11. On tap in the Madison airport. Super clear golden pour with a small white head that fades fast. Plain grainy aroma that shows pale malts and a touch of metal. Similar plain, grainy flavor with a touch of corniness. Not bad.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Ughsmash (5631) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 8, 2011
On tap at Great Dane – Wausau. Poured clear pale golden with a nice white head.. looked right for the style. The aroma picked up semi-sweet honey and bready notes with white spices and earthy accents.. touch of lemon zest on the back.. very good for the style. The flavor was on the dry side, again with a pinch of honey mixed with pale and bready malts.. tangy lemon, wheat, and white pepper around.. well-balanced and refreshing. Light-bodied and dry on the palate with high carbonation.. smooth base, but spritzy around.. OK feel.

Didn’t expect to like this that much as it’s not really my style. Poured a clear yellow colour. small creamy white head. Prevalent corn and hops aroma. Taste was dissapointing. Watery and lackluster- it had no character. Way too much on the malts.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 drpimento (1695) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 3, 2005
Pours with a light head and has the appearance, indeed all the characteristics of the classic cream ale. They got it down with this one. It has a better taste than most cream ales I’ve had. It’s very fresh and smooth. Has just a bit of lace. Clean finish that a bit warming. Had it downtown La Crosse at the Bodega.
3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20 jewedekind (450) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 1, 2004
This was as good as this beer gets. A mouthful of malt with a slight sweetness. The smallest hint of hops, but like a good loogie on your tongue.
2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 GermanBrews76 (670) - Portland, Oregon, USA - FEB 5, 2004
pale straw body, almost no carbonation, sparse tight white head. Dry, somewhat fruity and maybe a floral hint. corn and cornflakes. Like a piss poor pils. dry, but creamy it is not.
