(Draught) Pours a cloudy orange body with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of floral, pine, light toastiness, and some herbs. Flavor of hops (pine, herbal, earthy, grass) and caramel malt with a bitter finish. Just not digging this one...
2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20 YoYoPete (2) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - JAN 20, 2012 does not count
I can taste some hops, but there?s a lot of malty richness and sweetness that I really don?t care for in an IPA. The old glory pale is much hoppier and just much more enjoyable. I wouldn?t order this IPA again. That being said, it?s not terrible by any means, just far from what I want in my IPA.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 esjaygee (2599) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 19, 2011
On tap at Great Dane Fitchburg. Clear amber with a thin tan head. Aroma of citrus and caramel with a touch of resinous hops in the background. Taste is of citrus and floral hops with their balancing friend called caramel. Mild bitterness, ‘twas okay.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 tmoreau (1355) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - AUG 15, 2011
On tap at the Doty location, and served to a logo pint glass with a hazed, orange/amber hue, good froth to the off white/cream head foam, and curtainy cling to the lacing. The nose was bright citrus, with a resiny/pine edge, and a touch of malt sweetness. Medium bodied, with a moderate but "lingering through the finish" hop bitterness that brought some pleasant dryness along for company.

On tap at the Great Dane, it is a spicy, herbal sort of IPA, not a bitter bomb by any means.
