2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 jewedekind (450) - Middleton, USA - JUN 14, 2007
This beer has gone to the lite side in 2007. Palest yellow - resembles an American lite. Nice enough head and a bit of corny aroma. Tastes better than it looks with a bit of malted barley coming and going. A good beer for >80 in the shade, but a bit thin for a cream ale.

On tap at a Madison Mallards game last night, pours a clear light golden/yellow with a thin head, aroma is of light grain with some grass, the flavor is very light with some grain being the vocal point, really light and easy drinking, not terrible when it’s 98 degrees outside at 8 pm.

Very very light clear gold. Feels nice and fizzy. Some honey, malts and hop. Quite sweet. Quite forgettable, too.

Pours a somewhat clear golden body with a soft head. Aroma is moderately malted with grassy notes and taste is a little grainy. Vanilla, decidious fruit- very clean and crisp finish.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 CaptainCougar (6835) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - NOV 18, 2007
On tap at the brewpub on 6/22/07: Pours a transparent lifeless pale golden with a thin wisp of white bubbles. Aroma of pale grainy malt with a touch of noble hops. Body starts light and semi-sweet with some grain and maize flavor before a thinner bittersweet finish. A pretty boring and bland brew, but not offensive.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 19641948 (490) - Greensboro, North Carolina, USA - OCT 4, 2007
Sampled at the Great Dane - Madison Airport before a flight back home. Pours a dilute yellow, almost clear. Bleached white head. Modest lacing. Aromas are light and airy with flour-y breadiness and a hint of fruit. Appropriate creamy flavor, with breadiness and fruit asi n the fragrance. Dry aspect after each swallow. Mild corn flair. All in all, a shoulder-shrugging "meh" beer for me.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 GeneralGao (3545) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - JUL 6, 2007
Draft at the brewpub (downtown location). Poured a clear golden color. Head was thin, white, and left only minimal lace behind. Watered down aroma with slight whiffs of caramel and cereal grain. Slightly sweet on the tongue. Plenty of pleasant malty caramel and fresh cereal grain flavor. There was also a milky aftertaste I’ve never experienced before with a beer.
