COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The full flavor of American ascade hops pours out at you from every angle, the result of adding hops 5 different times to the brew, including "dry-hopping". An underlying, rich malt flavor supports the crisp and floral hop bitterness to produce a thirst-quenching, flavorful brew.

Pours a nice dark amber color, just a decent amount of off-white head. Pine and bread on the nose. Grassy, piney, and bready on the palate.

(US 09/2012 backlog recollected in abstinence). Fliptop@Random burger/giant brat place in Georgetown, DC. Looks plain and watery, amber with a golden hue, but provided a fair sessional balance of everything you need in an APA: a subtle floral touch, some caramel malt, gentle lingering Cascade citrus rind bitterness. Quick drinker, ideal with and coincidentally appropriate to the same home state as my very salty "brat".

Ruby red color. Little head. Not much aroma. Very earthy flavor. Minimal hop taste. Much more prominent malt. Ok

Draft at the downtown brewpub. An orange-copper brew with a nice Brittanic head. Pleasant and rusty on the tongue. Malty with a mellow earthy bite, sticking with the British style. (#5132, 7/4/2013)

Had it tap at the Great Dane downtown location in Madison. Poured a clear amber / orange hue, with nice head and lacing. Firm tasting pale ale with a slight bitter after taste.

Pours an enticing orange color, with a thick white foam. The piney, refreshing aroma meets you at first with a nice undertone of malt. Tastes follows suit with a good hop presence up front, and solid malty background. Tastes like pine, citrus zest. A good solid offering especially from a brewpub. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On draft at the Great Dane in Wausau. Pours a deep amber color with a thin white head. Aroma is light, hoppy, orange, grapefruit. Medium on the palate with average carbonation. Flavor is sweet, malty, bready, some pine hops, with a light, bitter finish. A nice, serviceable pale ale.
