COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The full flavor of American ascade hops pours out at you from every angle, the result of adding hops 5 different times to the brew, including "dry-hopping". An underlying, rich malt flavor supports the crisp and floral hop bitterness to produce a thirst-quenching, flavorful brew.

On tap at the downtown brewpub. Pours a lightly hazed, golden orange colored body with a finger-width, creamy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is big florals and juicy citruses. Lots of oranges and some grapefruits with a light piney resin. Some sweeter caramels as well as a touch of bread. Flavor is similar. Lots of florals and some pines with a light resin. Light caramel sweetness to balance before a dry finish and moderate bitterness. Fairly lengthy aftertaste following a medium-light body and moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty solid pale ale. Lighter, but tasty and easy drinking. Fairly well hopped and nicely balanced making this quite enjoyable.

A golden amber ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, a smooth caramel malt with light floral hops, grassy, not bad. In mouth, a smooth crisp malt with light floral hops, very British. On tap at Madison airport location, Jan 22 2012.

Enjoyable hoppiness with a finishing hint of sweetness. Tart but not too bitter. Nice looking ale with minimal head.

Enjoyed on tap at the downtown brewpub. Cascade hops, an Ok bitterness was delivered. Lacey, cloudy golden body. Like a lighter IPA. Carbonation right there. Hoppy aroma, 40 IBU. OK as a moderately hoppy beer, with 40 IBU and 5.2% abv.

Tap at the brewpub in Wausau, WI. I was just not a huge fan of this one - looks like I might be in the minority on this. Golden pour with a white head. Nose was kind of like a scotch ale - a little sweatsock in here. Medium palate with noticeable carbonation. Taste was hops, bread/biscuit, and there’s that scotch ale flavor again.

On tap at downtown location. Strong cascade aroma. Very Hoppy, modeate bitterness. Unbalanced and a bit watery. Pretty good but one dimensional.

8/14/11. On tap in the Madison airport. Pretty clear orange pour with a small, fluffy white head that laces plenty. Bold aroma of American hops with citrus, dankness, and a teensy hint of pine. Similar flavor with citrus, but a bolder pine aspect and more pronounced floral aspects. There’s also a touch of minerals/hard water in there as well. Not too shabby.

Reviewed from notes. On tap in Madison - August 2009. Pours a light copper color with a bit of a white head and a really small amount of lacing. The nose is some nice citrus, grapefruit, and floral hops with a bit of a light caramel backing. The taste is mild grapefruit skin plus a bit of pale malt and slight caramel flavoring. Feel is a bit light with some mild bitterness. A well-made beer that drinks fairly well. Serving type: on-tap Reviewed on: 11-13-2010

Draft at Great Dane. Hazy, cloudy. Oily head. Malty and rich, has the classic earthy APA characteristics, but the body is a bit watery. Soapy, piny hop balance. Unexceptional, but sessionable.
