COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
As a truly British India Pale Ale, Potter's Run is packed full of the flavor of imported English Kent Goldings hops. This copper ale is served slightly warmer and uncarbonated through an authentic beer engine to create a traditional ale drinking experience.

Very hoppy, slight fruitiness; indistinct on the nose; not enough malt. Forgettable.

A hazed dark amber IPA with a thin lacing mocha head. In aroma, sweet banana malt with light herbal hops. In mouth, a smooth grassy malt with fruity esters, banana, grassy hops...is this a Belgian IPA? Or was I served the wrong beer. On tap at Madison airport location, Jan 22 2012.

Beer engine. Pours clear copper with a thick head that lasts. Moderate hop aroma, little malt. Moderate malt flavor with a wonderful hop finish. Pine hop flavor. Medium body, silky, almost creamy. Nicely done.

Draft at Great Dane Downtown. Pours a deep and clear copper with tinted white foam on top. Nose is floral with a citrus slant in the background and dusty malt. On taste, definitely English with round and full Pale Malt coupled with EKG floral notes. Mild bitterness. Pretty standard EIPA.

Served in a house-logo pint glass at Doty St., with a clear, copper color, an average amount of off white, small bubbled foam to the head, and some light, spotty lacing. The aroma was initially a little medicinal as iodine, along with some light mid-fruit and floral notes. The flavor added some bready nature to the fruit and floral notes, but concentrated more on the hop bitterness than a balance. As described, the temperature was warmer, but the low to no carbonation gave the whole experience a watery and thin character. Okay with my bar snacks, but not that impressed.

On tap. Deep orange color with head that gives way to heavy lacing. Nice floral/grapefruit hop aroma. Nice caramel/biscuity malt flavor with spicy/citrus hop flavor. Pleasantly surprised! Very well balanced IPA. Similar in profile to Two-hearted, believe-it-or-not. Well done.

On draught at the downtown, Madison Great Dane brewpub. Pours a clear copper amber colored brew with an average sized off-white head that quickly dissipates but leaves behind some nice lacing. Aroma of dry roasted caramel malt, some light grapefruit zest, iced tea, and a hint of pear. Taste is medium bodied, flavors of caramel malt, dry leafy and floral hops and a hint of brown sugar. Finish is a touch more malty than hoppy. Semi-dry with some iced tea and caramel malt aftertaste.

Cask, downtown Madison. Filtered looking amber-brown color. Mellow carbonation, with some fruity, flowery UK hops. A touch soapy and. Smooth and easy drinking, with a mild bitter aftertaste.

noncaloric (684) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 22, 2009
Served on cask. Clear copper pour with a large, very open head, good retention but very little lace. Floral and pine hops aromas. Flavor very much a British styled IPA, good balance between the bitter, lightly floral hops and the beany malts. Well crafted, but a bit light on flavor. In some sense more felt than tasted, more sparkle and body than bitter and sweet.

This beer pours an clear copper coloured body, with a medium sized head with plenty of retention. A excitingly citrusy beer with plenty of hops. Aromas of brown sugar, pine, fresh hops and grapefruit. Taste is full yet soft, lime, orange and earth flavors.
