A nice pint, stared me down from the new bar. Rich walnut color, slight head. Aroma of the good biscuit. I did not get the full hop character that hezron did. More of a biggish body and bitterness on a mild. Damn fine session beer for the season. Too bad it’s so soon gone.

hezron (604) - Viroqua, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 11, 2005
Hand pulled at the downtown location. Grapefruit and pine aroma with a slight hint of caramel malt in the aroma. Dark mahogany brown with a thin head. Very hoppy flavor! Distinctly minty. Dry hopped with Fuggles, so that explains it. Very soft carb, thinner mouthfeel
