On cask at Great Dane Hilldale. Clear amber with an a medium beige head. Aroma of Amarillo hop, sweet malt, citrus and biscuity notes. Mild carbonation with taste of Amarillo and citrus hops, biscuit, light fruit and pale malt. Though it was decently balanced and finished up moderately bitter.

Served as a slightly hazy orange amber with a large, dense, creamy head, dissipating to leave a thin, dry lacing. Aroma of citric hops adds to the anticipation of the beer. On the tongue, the hops are well balanced by somewhat sweet malts. Somewhat honeyed, fruity, although significantly bitter in the sense of citrus zest. Medium bodied, good hops burn.

Skyview (5150) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - NOV 2, 2008
On draught at the downtown brewpub location in Madison, Wisconsin. Pours a clear amber brew with a nearly beige head that dissipates to a thin off-white head and some spotty lacing. Aroma of light citrus and pine hops, a touch of golden grain and caramel malts, and a touch of spice. Taste is very light carbonated, some medium body with flavors of citrus hops on top of caramel malt and a touch of Ivory Soap - could have been the dishwasher water, but it was there. Finish is mild bitterness with some citrus aftertaste. Closer to an American Pale Ale style than India but still drinkable.

Not sure what the name means. Impressive. Has a thick, oily and creamy body with amazing lace (how sweet the sound). Harshly bitter with a long soapy finish, although the initial sweetness helps it from being completely unbalanced. Maybe that’s the speedbump they’re talking about.

Sampled on draught: Pours a pretty clear but bright amber with a cream medium size head. Aroma is very earthy, subtle citrus qualities with plenty of carbonation that keeps the aromas continuously rising. Taste is fruit forward, with fresh hopped flavors, grapefruit and lime- pleasent all around.

Served on cask at the brewpub (downtown location). I had this the night before the Great Taste of the Midwest festival. I have to admit cask is not my favorite way to drink beer, as I feel that it muddles the flavor somewhat. That said, this was a nice creamy mouthfeel with candied hops and a smooth finish. Not the normal bite that I like, but I could tell this is a solid offering nonetheless.

Very nice. Pine. Hops. Grass. All that you expect from a West Coast IPA served at the pub downtown. Good IPA.

I was a little disappointed in this. Solid aroma, and really nice hoppy flavor but there was almost no carbonation and the body was surprisingly thin for a beer with this much flavor. Almost watery.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear amber with a tanned head. Bitter with some sweetness. Mellow grapefruit aromaswith a bit of sugary caramel aromas. Medium to full bodied. Very low carbonation. Bitter finisf with aromas of grapes and a hint of apples.

Golden amber, white head. Nose is mango & catty, carmel malts. Flavor is strong hops (mango, catty, raw green pine), very bitter in the finish with a hint of lingering caramel. Very ’juicyfruit’
