This beer pours a cloudy orange color with a thin white creamy head with mild creamy lacing. The aroma is almost pure sweet malt and barley with heavy notes of brown sugar. A hint of citrus and grass in the nose as well. The flavor is medium to full bodied and completely confusing on the palate. To stick with the amber fashion this was strangely nutty with sticky honey in the finish. Also noted are wood, citrus, hay, grass, sweet malts and perhaps brown sugar...but man is there a lot of nut quality here. The aroma is actually quite nice. Its not as strong as I’d like but whats there is sweet and refined..the flavor however confuses me greatly. Medium carbonation levels, not something I could drink a lot of. Finish is dry and relatively murky...uninteresting. Aftertaste gets worse as it warms so drink it quickly.

Jul 5, 2008 Hazy amber with a medium off-white thin head. Aroma of cookie, dough, bread, caramel, and toffee. Taste of caramel, sweet malt, nuts and honey. Semi-watery, so-so amber.

Jul 3, 2008 nice amber pour with a 2 finger cream head. malts on the nose at first with a slight hoppy scent in the background. a little thicker than i was expecting and it’s kind of flavorless until the finish. it’s a nice clean finish of hops that become balanced out by the malts quite well.

May 2, 2008 The aroma was of light hops. while I pour carefully, the head was quite large and off white. The beer itself was mildly cloudy and a taste temping medium amber. The taste was a bit hopy and not very sweet for a malt, yet it finished rather smooth...

Apr 19, 2008 Pours an amber cloudy color with an off-white sopay head. Mild aroma of hops and fruit. Caramel malt taste with some fruit and a kind hop finish. Enjoyable offering.

Apr 14, 2008 Pours medium-dark amber with a large off-white head that quickly dissipates. Nice aroma of light caramel malts and dry fruit. Flavor is pleasant, full -bodied, light and malty, and a little bitter-sweetness and hops. A good amber. Good full-body.
