This Belgian-style Ale is a golden example of our traditional bold character, but with a little something special to commemorate this milestone. Fermented with Viognier grape juice, 20th Anniversary is both delicate and assertive. Big without being brutish, cunning without being cloying, this is a grown-up beer for a big-time celebration.

A fresh beer, great on a worm day or after work. As said somewhat cloudy, a almost yellow or light hey color. Nice aroma with yeast and citrus. Taste is also fresh without being to thing, a slight grape juice taste can be detected. Not to sweet or yeasty. I might not want this everyday and one bottle is almost to much. But split this with three friends as a welcome drink before dinner and it has a place.

Bottle; Pour is murky lemon gold with a thinly veiled fine bubbled white head here in this snifter. The nose is clear grape notes, musk, flesh, moving to spent grain, with lemongrass notes and a typical mild mannered belgian yeast presence. It has a nice balance though - that’s what stuck out. The flavor profile is more spent grain, cracker crust, moving to the citrus notes and light hay - the grape is more near the finish for me , with a touch of sweetness. It’s not impressive - such is the life of anniversary beers.
