Clear medium to dark amber orange color with a average to large, creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, heavy hoppy, citrus - orange, pine, wood. Flavor is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Bottled. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, over ripe fruit, and hops, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle 65 cl. Clear amber golden with a creamy beige head. Spicy, lightly perfumy woody aroma. Medium body, somewhat oxidized and tired mouthfeel, bourbon notes and a warming alcoholic finish without much bitterness. 110709

22 fl oz bottle, RBSG2009. Pours clear and dark amber with a small white head. Aroma is light yeasty and subdued roasted malt. Fruity too. Mild fruity and malty flavoured, slight phenolic. Smooth fruity and phenolic finish.

Draught@SBWF2009 (thanks to the bartender from some pub Falun, both for a sip from this as well as for a good chat). Deep amber colour with small beige creamy head. Aroma is zest, lots of fruity and floral hops along with some wooden notes as well as caramel malts. Flavour is quite much the same, but the wooden notes are a bit stronger. Rather interesting result.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Clear ambe, airy head. Cookie malt and lychee strikes first. Sweet and full bodied wth clean, rounded mouthfeel. Dough and aromatic grapefruit, notesof wood. Mid bitter finish. The alcohol is well hidden and it feels harmonious.

Beautiful amber color; big head, creamy.
Aroma of toffee, light butter, light hops, light vanilla oak.
Sweet caramel and toffee flavor, with a bold body and a soft and round mouthfeel; the bitterness is quite strong, but without interesting hop qualities; unfortunately the bitterness and the vanilla oak contribute in creating a suspicious butter feeling; this is a tad too much even for me, in the end.
It finishes with buttery and bitter toffee.

Aroma: sweet vanilla and crystal malt aroma, citrus hops
Flavor: sweet vanilla flavor, nice touch of oak, sweet crystal, plenty of hops, light citrus, light bitterness, spicy pine
Overall: the sweet vanilla goes well with the sweet malt and the hops round it out

Bottle @ Odense Tasting, December 2010. Pours unclear copper with a small creamy white head. Nose is sweet. Hops, oak and tangerine. Sweet and stikcy palate with sweet malts, oak and alcohol.

Draft @ Abraxas. Hazy amber colour. Thick head. The aroma us a bit chewy bur w woody and slightly spicy hops. Rich, chewy and woody w some alcohol late. Palate is heavy and chewy w dull hop and a geck of a lot of woody notes.
