Creamy brown head. Aromas of chocolate, roasted malt, hint of yeast and some banana notes. Its really a full bodied beer. So much flavor in this beer, caramel, coffee, roasted malt, nuts and wood. Very strong beer, little much for little me...

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 jdavidh (53) - Colorado, USA - MAR 28, 2013
Pours a thick, deep, tar black with a creamy chocolate colored head. Head retreated to heavy lacing.
Nose was massive with chocolate, malted milk, espresso. Amazing.
Taste was loaded with dark chocolate, roasted nuts, maybe a hint of plum. A bit of Belgian strong ale style spiciness but not as much as I expected.
Phenomenal beer

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20 radio_nowhere (412) - Maryland, USA - MAR 25, 2013
Bomber poured into over-sized snifter glass. Very dark brown color with dark tan head that disappears to a wide lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, soy sauce, dark fruit and some Belgian yeast. Taste is roasty malt sweetness, milk chocolate, light coffee, vanilla, alcohol with some spices in the background. Heavy body, light carbonation, creamy, rich, smooth with lingering roasty finish. I’d say the Belgian yeast contributed more to aroma then taste. Very good, haven’t had a bad Yeti yet!

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Swaroga (788) - Brussels, BELGIUM - MAR 18, 2013
650ml bottle. Dark, almost black with medium size brown head. Nose : black chocolate, toffee, cheese, caramelised nuts. Banana, booze and orange. Sip : oily and thick, delicate carbonation. Sweet with flavours of a nice banana, vanilla ice-cream covered by black chocolate and rum. Sweetness is not cloying but really present till the end, mostly the chocolate flavour prevails. The beer is smooth and delicious to sip. Hides well the alcohol. More like a desert then an actual pint of refreshment. Sometimes it’s nice not to share, I can drink this bottle on my own.
3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 PhillyCraft (1959) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 16, 2013
Bottle from Canals shared with some head before the Flyers game. Pours dark brown with thin head. Lacing wasn’t enough to note. Aromas/Flavor were coffee, booze, spice, chocolate, vanilla, candy suagr, and lots of Belgian yeast. Smaller notes of licorice and smoked almond. Mouth was pretty full from the soft carbonation. Not bad

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Boliv (1146) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 11, 2013
Bomber bottled JUN 08, 2012, c/o Sean. Pours dark reddish and brown, opaque in the glass, with a creamy and frothy 3-finger mocha-colored head. Long retention and doily lacing. Aromas of rich chocolate, cocoa-dusted orange peel and musty citrus, vanilla, cocoa, and molasses. The flavor is cocoa and dusty orange, rich chocolate, citrus peel and floral/herbal notes, all mingling with chocolate and earthy malt. Mild yeast accentuates the hop profile subtleties. Rich, full-bodied, creamy, and easy-drinking. Very good! Thanks! [1134]
