Bomber poured into snifter. Poured jet black with a caramel colored head. Smelled of chocolate, caramel and malt. Very smooth taste with chocolate and malt with some caramel. Not a bitter aftertaste, smooth all the way. Very nice.

A - Motor oil black with a creamy mocha head showing good retention.
S - Yeasty chocolate, roasted coffee beans, vanilla, woody booze.
T - Bitter sweet chocolate malt, vanilla, coffee beans, toasted yeasty brown bread clings to the sides of the tongue. Not getting alot of fruit but moderate floral hops with minor hints of apples and prunes. Hops dry out the Esspresso oils and sweet malt that coat your mouth on the finish.
M - Medium creamy body, a little more boozy than regular Yeti as it warms.
Adds more complexity to an already perfect beer. The fruit didn’t come out as much as I’d hoped for. Good but I would just go with regular Yeti.

Bomber->snifter. Black with big frothy tan head. Aroma: roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, coffee. Taste: sweet malt, chocolate, coffee, oak. Something is off here, leaving the aftertaste a bit unpleasant.

Bottle courtesy of Theydon Bois, cheers Colin, thank you very much! Had this Hastings campsite sat in Frank 03.05.13 Pours dark, dark brown with a very large tan foamy head. This is total indulgence, wonderfully roasty, soft with a thickness in the mouth and a lovely spiciness, alcohol shows but it is warming however it is not harsh at all. Chocolatey, soft spiciness in fact there is some cocoa powder. Lovely, lovrly beer. Rating on phone so not great. A8 A5 T9 P4 Ov17 4.3

A dark black pour with light brown head and some carbonation. Some coffee aroma. Strong coffee and some chocolate flavor but very smooth compared to other Imperial Stouts.

On tap @ Publican. Near black with a finger-thick tan head. Lovely sweet rustic profile, unsmoked cigar, cocoa, espresso, dark fruits. To be truthful, nothing here especially emphasizes any Belgian character, other than perhaps a less-pronounced hop presence. Really tasty though, especially with our oysters.

Get a yeti... when you blend sometimes you end with a mucky confusion. That is the Begian style yeti. Not to great aroma, average flavor... it turns into a well performed stout. Skip it... its not mythical... its forgetable.

Bottle from Henry’s in Eastlake: Poured a dark and opaque brown liquid and developed a thick pillow of foam head which eventually retreats to a film covering. My nose picks up on the dark roasted malts in the aroma while a minimum scent of alcohol and Belgian yeast lurk in the background. In the palate, the drink has a smooth and silky cream texture with low levels of carbonation that has me award a perfect score of 5. The flavor is subtle with a rich and robust dark malt profile while also having a taste of coffee creamer that comes across as a bit sour. Meanwhile, there is a notice of sweet sugars and a tiny presence of spicy Belgian yeast. Although this was a tasty beer, I prefer any of the other Yeti recipes over this one.

A brownblack pour with a brown head. Looks and smels lovely. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, liquorice and perhaps some vanilla and spices. Taste is almost simular but i like the smell much better. Good IRS.

Bomber, pulled out of the beer cellar to share with others the end of winter in NE WI. Definitely not disappointed. Poured dark and chocolate with hinted roast undertones. Great head to give the proper mouth feel. The RIGHT choice.
