Great Divide Colette is the brewery’s homage to the saisons that Belgian farm workers have enjoyed for centuries. Brewed with barley, wheat and rice and fermented at high temperatures with a special blend of four different yeast strains, Colette is fruity and slightly tart, with a dry finish that makes it refreshing and complex. Brett, Meet Colette is a farmhouse ale that has been inoculated with Brettanomyces and barrel-aged. Brett, Meet Colette was brewed on Great Divide’s new pilot system specifically for barrel-aging with Brettanomyces and has not been made available to anyone outside of the Great Divide brewing team.

12 oz bottle. Pours hazy yellow/ orange with a thin white head and ample CO2 release. Aroma of leather, grass, floral notes. Taste is bitter and slightly sour. Flavors of Brett, grass, pepper and light tropical fruits. Smooth and easy to drink.

Pour on tap at the Denver Rare Beer Tasting 2012, hazy yellow pour with white head, aroma brought notes of peach, pear, nice brett funk and spice notes, also adding a bit of fruit with pineapple notes, hints of slight fruity and peppery esters, touch of bready notes in there as well. Taste is a mix of biscuit, bread, hints of pepper, brett funk and fruit notes, finishing fairly sweet, funky, and slightly dry. This is pretty well made.

Had at the 2012 Denver Rare Beer Tasting in Denver, Colorado. Has a lemon/banana funk scent. Has a earthy and weird meaty like flavor.
