4.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 glenD (29) - - MAY 21, 2013
Pours a jet black motor oil color with a brownish red bubbly head that dissipates towards the edge of the glass with time. The aroma is intense bitter dark chocolate with some subtle booze. Texture is creamy and the flavor profile that follows begins with a warm boozy roasted flavor and finishes with a dry chocolate aftertaste. Good brew. Not as good as Founders KBS, but for chocolate lovers its a quality brew.
4.4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 Tranquillity (1373) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - MAY 21, 2013
Draught at the brewery. Completely blak, with small but thick light brown head. Aroma of coffee with bitter chocolate, nice roasted notes with some distant sweetness. The body is very full, thick like chocolate and you cannot almost feel the bubbles. The taste is sweeter than the aroma, and the finish is dryer.
4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 tdmuel (81) - South Carolina, USA - MAY 18, 2013
Pours nearly pitch black with a tiny bit of red getting through on the edges, and a bubbly mocha head. Dark bitter chocolate on the nose, hints of oak and coffee, roasted malts and a touch of vanilla. Great taste, lots of oak up front, there’s a good bit of earthy bitter chocolate, lots of roasted malt and a bit of vanilla. Very well balanced, maybe my favorite of the Yetis.

Pours black with thin tan head that quickly disappears. Aromas of chocolate, oak, and a hint of cayenne. Strong chocolate presence along with vanilla, oak, and a smidgen of heat.
4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 Bestbrew1 (46) - Minnesota, USA - MAY 15, 2013
I like this one a lot especially when I have the smell of a wood fire to go with it. It can be a little boozy which was expected out of a RIS but overall this is a great beer and is worth a try.
4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 EtTuCthulhu (396) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - MAY 14, 2013
This beer is an opaque black color with a small brown head that fades to a ring at a medium pace, and the aroma is reminiscent of cocoa, roasted malts, and a hint of espresso. The taste is divine with its superb balance of mild bitterness, mild umami, and mild sweet, and the palate combines a oily texture, bitter finish, full body, and soft carbonation.

On tap at Rocket City Brewfest. Dark brown, almost black with a thick creamy head and a rich aroma. Smelled of roasted coffee and peat. Rich flavor - dark chocolate, coffee, malt, some vanilla and a bit of spice. Ric, full feel in the mouth; slightly bitter aftertaste with a hint of pepper.

Pours very dark with a extremely dark head. I taste hints of hops, chocolate, and oak. Beer is very full in the mouth. Has some lacing.
