COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We toned down the hops a bit to allow cocoa nibs to contribute some pleasing bitterness, while vanilla notes from the oak combine with the cocoa to create an aroma and flavor akin to a gourmet chocolate bar. A dash of cayenne keeps things lively, adding just a bit of heat to the finish. A Yeti for summer? Hell yes.

22oz bottle. Very dark brown with chocolate ice cream brown head. Bitter chocolate and sweet roast aroma. Taste is a big dose of moderately sweet chocolate, a little licorice, oak and piney hops. Definite tinge of cayenne in the back of the tongue. Moderate bitterness. Drinks very smooth for the 9.5%. Itís been a while since Iíve had the regular Oak Aged Yeti, but I remember that having much more oak presence. Very nice.

Pours black with a lasting brown head. Light aroma of malt. Nice taste of malt and bitter chocolate. I feel like it's too bitter for the palate ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Great beer! Chocolate on the nose followed by a note of vanilla. The cayenne really comes through at the end once the beer warms up.

A very nice imperial. Dark brown pour. Roasted malt and chocolate nose. Medium mouthfeel but a touch over carbonated. Flavor profile matches aroma with a hint of barrel aging. Nicely done.

Bottle @ Post EBBC14 tasting at Norseman [290614]
Pitch black, yellowy tan head, very good lacing
Aroma of deep rich dark malts, rich dark chocolate, soft roast, so smooth, no booze at all, some soy, very complex, superb aroma
Taste of rich dark plain chocolate, soft spicy, very rich dark malts, soft savoury, mellow mellow roast, oh so smooth, very complex, massive malts, huge chocolate, slight wood, phenomenal
Palate - Soft carb, full body, very rich mouthfeel, fairly sweet palate. Finish is smooth, rich, long lingering tail of those fantastic chocolate rich deep malts
Overall - Absolutely phenomenal - the bottle was BBE 2012 so has obviously smoothed out. Hardly any alcohol. Itís one of the best beers Iíve ever had.

22oz bottle, silver foil. Pours like an old motor oil. Thick. Hot chocolate colored foam. Scent of burnt malts, cocoa, wood, some light alcohol. Smells thick. Flavors of roasted barley, coffee-like characters, wood, vanilla bean, tannin bitterness. Loads of cocoa & chocolate malts, under the black patent. Very heavy bodied, thick & syrupy. You could make 10 beers with the amount of hearty wort to make this beer. Full flavored. (4107)

Bomber pours an opaque dark brown/black with decent mocha head which leaves good lacing. Aroma is full of chocolate, roasted malts, and licorice. Taste is sweet at first, with lots of chili and black pepper spices, alcohol and some hoppy bitterness in the finish. Body is full with average carbonation but a creamy mouthfeel. This one is to be savored slowly. If I see it again, Iíll glady try it again.

Thick inky brew. Smells like Some quechua portion of grass bark fire. Black chocolate looks like it would stain. Yellowishfroth. Leaves an aftertaste of thick strong mocha. If it didnít have subdued bubbling through the throat, its mouthfeel would be like chocolate milk.

Pours pitch black with a frothy mocha head. Very strong chocolate aroma, roasted malt scents, and slight liquorice. Taste is rich but not overly sweet with a long dry bitterness through the finish. Full body, creamy mouth feel, and lively carbonation. Amazing beer.
