Loved the Espresso version, so expectations were very high. Color is black, head is tan in color, but not as thick as expected. Some chocolate comes through in the nose, but not much. Tastes like a Imperial Stout should, but more coffee than chocolate. Did not enjoy as much as the Espresso.

Pours a very dark brown, small foamy brown head. Aroma was very nice with coffee, chocolate, vanilla, and woody notes. Taste was pretty close to the nose with the oak coming out and just a faint hint of the pepper. Very good beer and well done.

Is every yeti a 100? Just asking, had this on tap at the bocktown, nice place, rude beer this is. Some choco aroma on this one. Nice, attractive rolling pour on this baby. Taste of whisky laced choco thing. Strong and difficult. High alky beer. What else can be said? Accolades for the choco keeping this out of the basement.

Pours a very dark brown with a dark brown head leaving heavy lacing. oak aging is in the nose of this beer, with notes of chocolate. Very mild chocolate flavor with strong oak aging, slight astringent coffee flavor with a bit of alcohol at the end.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Great looking beer. Very deep, brown appearance with frothy, chocolate head. Aroma is chocolate and oak, but could be stronger. Taste is lots of chocolate up front, but this beer is more complex than just chocolate. Earthy leather, oak, and booze throughout. Lots of sweet sugar and some vanilla. The carbonation is a bit strong, but overall a really good bear.

On tap at exit 6. Aroma delivers what it promises (oak, chocolate) but it could be stronger. Also I am getting some malt and wheat/grassy/earthy aroma. Looks great. Pitch black with thin brown clingy head. Tastes roasty, hoppy (but not as much as other yetis) with a great oaky chocolatey aftertaste. Palate is thick enough, a little too carbonated. Alcohol is well hidden, overall very well crafted.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Deep pitch black coloured body with a very oily touch on top and a nice large three centimetre tall rich brown head. Aroma of rich chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla, oak, prunes, raisins, alcohol and quite a bit more chocolate. Very full-bodied; Super strong chocolate, alcohol and roasted malt notes throughout with some vanilla, oak, raisins and earthiness noticeable. Aftertaste shows a little smoke and mushroom flavour with a lot of roasted malt, tons of caramelised sugars and a good oak and earthiness. Overall, a very nice imperial stout with a lot of chocolate flavours and a very nice yet somewhat subtle oakiness that makes the flavour a bit dry. A great deal of complexity and of course, a lot of alcohol throughout. I sampled this 65 cL bottle direct from the source at the brewpub in Denver, Colorado on 07-June-2014 sampled after hockey on 09-July-2014.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Loads of vanilla, coffee, chocolate and malt on the nose. The palate follows through with the same except there is a lot of bitterness. I would have rated it higher if it had just a bit more sweetness. Good beer.
