COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our homage to the beers that have quenched the thirst of Belgian farm workers for centuries. Brewed with barley, wheat and rice and fermented at high temperatures with a special blend of four different yeast strains, Saison is fruity and slightly tart, with a dry finish that makes it that rarest of treats–a beer as refreshing as it is complex. 7.3% ABV.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Cloudy yellow with a big fluffy white head. Aroma is funky and earthy with citrus, overripe fruits, wheat and a bit of spiciness. This brew pours a slightly hazy pale straw color with a medium foamy white head that evaporates slowly. Small patches of lacing on the glass. The aroma is grainy malt, yeast and slight hops. Light to medium body with a slightly funky character with notes of citrus, yeast, bready malt and spices. The finish is fruity with a mildly bitter citrusy hops aftertaste. Above average Saison overall.

Draft sample. Very malty belgian ale that has a flavor reminiscent of cotton candy. How you can call this a saison I don’t know.
