Vas19 (191), Maryland, USA Apr 25, 2008 Pours orange amber with a massive white head. Grass hop aroma. Strange hoppy malt flavor. Ok.
beerheart (211), Erie, Colorado, USA Jul 5, 2008 This is what I have when I’ve got time to kill in DEN. It’s on tap at the Wolfgang Puck. It pours a watery, fizzy golden-yellow with a thin foam. It is thin to medium. It tastes a bit grassy but with a nice balance of hops and malt. esjaygee (603), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA Jul 5, 2008 Amber with a large brown head with particulates floating about. Aroma of hard water, light caramel, bread and mild hops. Taste is very metallic with that leads to a semi-bitter and not very pleasant aftertaste that’s a bit dry. Malted body with notes of caramel balanced out by some mild hops. Next. unclemattie (1491), Georgia, USA Jun 19, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours clear, pale amber/copper color, thick creamy eggshell colored head. Aroma of swseet caramel malt with a light citrus hop scent. Flavor is very sweet followed by a sharp hop bitterness. Nicely bittered. Hop flavors linger on the palate. Compairative to 420. cheers Enjoyit (1068), Vadum, Denmark Jun 19, 2008 Golden of color with a nice foamy beige head. An aroma with notes of hops, grapefruit, dry grass and a malty notes. A flavor of hops, malt, grass, grapefruit and a nice bitter and dry finish. unclemike (231), Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA Jun 17, 2008 love the aroma of this beer. A great mix of hops and roasted malt. Smells of caramel dominate with notes of pine, herbs and dough. Head is fizzy and mostly diminishing and the color is a red/brown. The flavor was a disapointing one dimensionally bitter. I expected sweetness but there really was none. The palate was light to medium and dry, and the carbonation was fizzy. While a very good drinking beer, the flavor could have been a little more complex
