Commercial Description:
Our more muscular take on the beloved white ales of Belgium. Unmalted wheat and Belgian malted barley give the beer a light body and straw hue, while coriander and curaçao provide the traditional notes of spice and light acidity. This cloudy, deceptively drinkable creation should be enjoyed without the addition of fruit.

Chalk white head over a light golden brew. Very much straight forward Wit with coriander, orange peel and a touch of cinnamon. The body is full. A touch sweet, but very well balanced and very refreshing for such a high ABV. Very enjoyable.

Gold pour, off white head. Aroma is yeasty, bananas, caramel, honey and some spice. Flavor is a bit caramel sweet with some bubblegum and banana notes. Pretty nice effort.

Bottle.
Pours a rich, translucent gold with a huge ivory head that leaves artwork on the side of the glass. Aroma is barnyard yeast with clove and dark banana. Flavor is a lemony clove with a honey-like finish that melts into sweet bread syrup. Nice mouthfeel. A pleasant wit that keeps the alcohol from taking center stage. Good beer.

Bottle... Poured a clear golden with a thick white head. Citrus-like, spiced esters and wheat on the nose. Dry palate, well carbonated, very refreshing. The yeast was nice on this one, grainy and wheat like. Spiced and lots of citrus fruits. Could taste the coriander and a strong sweet tone. Really tasty, smooth brew and no hint of the high alcohol. As it warmed, those subtly alcohol notes came through, and also a little anise.

Pours cloudy pale yellow with a frothy white head. Aroma is tart lemon, lime and orange with wheat. Taste is moderately sweet with some sourness from yeast and wheat. Lemon banana and clove are flavors present. Medium body and carbonation.

A: Poured with a huge, rocky, white head that hung around for a fair bit before gradually dissipating. Nice lacing. Body is dark yellow and very cloudy. S: Aroma is of light yeast, coriander, citrus, orange, and pepper. Very spicy, actually... a little more spice and it’d be overdoing it, but this works well. There’s a light presence of alcohol as well. T: Quite a nice flavor with the spices and coriander, and quite refreshing. To be honest, the alcohol is hidden very well... almost TOO well, if you ask me. M: Medium-bodied and creamy, with a soft carbonation. D: This beer is way too drinkable at 8%+... but I think one or two would be enough, as the spices may get a little overpowering if you keep chugging them back.

In short: A big thick doughy Belgian wheat beer. Nourishing more than refreshing. Good.
How: Bottle 22oz. Consumed fresh a few weeks after purchase
The look: Cloudy dark yellow body topped by a medium white head with medium retention.
In long: Nose is very yeasty with notes of oranges, bananas and corn. Body is full, very full. I like full body beer but this one like many very big wheat beer becomes very doughy, too full imho. Taste is a big wheat dough (breakfast muffin-like), lemon, bananas, minerals, yeast. Typical witbier coriander and friends spices. Something about the yeast and/or wheat makes it a very mouth drying saliva sucker. Floral hops adds a little complexity. No alcohol presence at all. Too doughy to be refreshing. You might be disappointed if you are opening this bottle expecting a refreshing witbier but it can be satisfying if you feel like a big thick Belgian wheat beer with a body fuller than a sumo wrestler’s lunchbox.
