Espresso Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout is a new addition to the Yeti clan. A generous infusion of Denver’s own Pablo’s espresso adds yet another layer of complexity to this beer, combining with the vanilla oak character, intense roasty maltiness and bold hop profile to create a whole new breed of mythical creature. It’s official, you can now have Yeti with breakfast.

Suggested food pairings: Breakfast burrito, eggs Benedict, hash browns, cheesecake, creme brulee.

Similar to its other oak aged yeti cousins, but with a distinctive flavor of coffee. Very well done.

650ml bottle. Black color with brown head. Roasted malty aroma, lot of coffee, chocolate, light dark fruits, light vanilla, some wood and hop notes. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Full almost creamy body with soft carbonation.

22 oz bottle shares with Spencer. 2013 vintage. The pour is a nice black with a dark khaki colored foamy head with some great lace. The aroma is a little more reserved than I would expect. There is a strong oak and subtle coffee. Chocolate malts and a light alcohol twinge make up most of the back end. There is is a light dark fruit and tobacco combo that I like. The flavor is surprisingly disappointing. There is a lot of toast and minimal oak and coffee. The coffee doesn't make much of a presence at all, but that could be from age. It's bitter and roasty, like a stout should be, but I was hoping for more. The mouth feel is excellent. The carbonation is soft and velvety and helps it stick around and cling. The aftertaste is lingeringly boozy and bitter. I just wish the coffee made more of a difference ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Dark pour with a thin mocha head. Coffee, oak, cream and earth. Medium body but fullness and bitterness continues throughout until long finish. Really nice

Bottle. Pours a thick black with a mocha head. Smells of coffee, roasted malts, earthy/herbal hops. Strong flavors of coffee and roasted malts. Starts lightly bitter, though the bitterness builds the more I drink. Medium+ to full bodied; thick and creamy; carbonation is soft. Lasting bitter finish.

Bomber. Very dark almost black pour with a really thick almond brown head. Strong malty aroma with a hint of coffee. Nice coffee taste at first that finishes with a strong earthy oak flavor. Very smooth and creamy. Great beer

Bottle. Pours dark brown with beautiful, rich dark brown head. Aroma is wood, liquorice, chocolate, vanilla and coffee. On taste there is coffee, wood, vanilla, hint of bourbon, chocolate, cocoa and maybe some dark fruits. Mouthfeel is so freaking rich and smooth, it feels like you can actually chew it, one of the best I have experienced. Espresso comes more in finish, with some hoppy bitterness, vanilla and chocolate, and adittion there is bit tobacco ash. Medium dry. This has just taken me by suprise, it’s just so incredibly well balanced and smooth, there is strong aromas and flavours, but nothing overpowers other. This is what I call breakfast stout, huge IS!
