Bomber. Very dark almost black pour with a really thick almond brown head. Strong malty aroma with a hint of coffee. Nice coffee taste at first that finishes with a strong earthy oak flavor. Very smooth and creamy. Great beer

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Pours dark brown with beautiful, rich dark brown head.
Aroma is wood, liquorice, chocolate, vanilla and coffee.
On taste there is coffee, wood, vanilla, hint of bourbon, chocolate, cocoa and maybe some dark fruits.
Mouthfeel is so freaking rich and smooth, it feels like you can actually chew it, one of the best I have experienced.
Espresso comes more in finish, with some hoppy bitterness, vanilla and chocolate, and adittion there is bit tobacco ash. Medium dry.
This has just taken me by suprise, itís just so incredibly well balanced and smooth, there is strong aromas and flavours, but nothing overpowers other. This is what I call breakfast stout, huge IS!

4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
There arenít many beer releases that can compete with the following and praise given to Great Divideís Yeti series. Iím inclined to say that each one is deserving. Take Espresso Oak Aged Yeti, for example. It pours like sludge (except with an even darker color) and has a fluffy, cocoa-colored head. Smells reveal burnt malt, tobacco, slight acridity, espresso, and woodsiness. And the taste? Roasty, smoky, oaky, earthy, and probably other -y words I canít identify. Despite the intense flavors, mouthfeel is creamy smooth. Now that Iíve had this Yeti release, Iím left with a question. The question isnít Should I have this again? but What should I pair with it when I do? Breakfast fare as per its suggested food pairings? Or a bold, dark cigar? Decisions, decisions.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A- Tobacco, roasty, smoke, woody, cocoa, subtle coffee, leather.
A- Black color, black liquid, dark brown head.
T- Tobacco, leather, subtle smoke, oak, subtle espresso, roasted.
P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, strong finish.
O- Not a whole lot of the espresso notes here in the nose or taste as I was expecting. You get the regular Yeti with the oak age here and just subtle additions of coffee. The big noticeable thing is what seems like tobacco and leather. Not what I wanted, but still excellent.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Black as the darkest dungeon with a creamy beige head. Ok lacing. Loads of espresso in the aroma. Also some oak and chocolate. Thick oily stuff with a smooth mellow carbonation. Good balance between sweetness and bitterness. Actually a pleasant round sweetness. Dominant espresso in the flavor also. And some chocolate, oak and mild fruity. Powerful evening sipper.

Bottle shared with daje, Simonsen & edvard at The "Esp0r #2000 Weekend in The Woods" 2014
Jet black, massive dense dark brown head. Smell of oak, espresso, coffee, roast, dark malts, quite exquisite. Heavy sweet, more coffee, espresso and roast, quite oily texture, a touch of sour, exquisite feel. Moderate bitter. Totally this is just a splendid beer

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bomber. Aroma of roast, bitterness, and a touch of wood. Dark brown color, with dark brown head, and tight bubbles with great lacing. Tastes like a terrific imperial stout, with perfect bitterness, roost character, and light wood flavor. Full bodied, creamy mouthfeel. Overall, a great beer! Doesnít taste like 9.5% at all!

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Rich, bitter dark chocolate and espresso dominate this one. Undertones of toast, toffee, brown sugar, rich malts, oak and hints of raisins. Coffee and tart finish. Creamy without feeling too heavy. Fantastic!
