4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Aroma is dominated by espresso and coffee beans. Black in color with a mocha colored foam. Remarkably smooth taste bringing notes of cocoa, oats, espresso and bourbon to the palate. Alcohol is well masked and the finish brings a lingering espresso/mocha. Overall, I’m very impressed. I’d have to say this is my favorite from the Yeti series. Very smooth with high drinkability. A+ rating.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
It pours black with a dark brown head. It does produce some lacing. It has aromas of coffee, espresso, chocolate, and wood elements. It is quite lively from the carbonation. There are flavors of coffee, chocolate, espresso and roasted elements. The are also a bit for floral elements. The finish is bitter and the carbonation tingles on the palate.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours pitch black and much like oil with a huge densely bubbled cinammon brown head. Lots of lacing. She's a beauty. Aroma is oakwood and smoke with notes of coffee, chocolate. Taste is a powerful blend of toasted oak and deep, rich, roasted expresso. Coffee, vanilla and some warming booze. Smooth and slightly chewy mouthfeel. A beer of great depth and character. Super balance - not too sweet but just the right amount of smoky roasted bitterness. Really, really good!

UPDATED: FEB 10, 2015 Milk chocolate, roasty, vanilla some smoke, soy. Very slick and smooth mouthfeel, quite thick and impressive for 9.5%. Blind tasted with all 5 Yetis, this was clearly the best of the bunch.

4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
There was quite a bit of smoke when i popped open the beer. The beer pours a dark black with a dark khaki head of about two fingers that left a lot of lacing around the glass. The aroma is coffee, chocolate, hints of dark fruits, and dark roasted malts. The taste is very woody, chocolate, and dark roasted coffee. There is some hints of smoke in the flavor and the alcohol is hidden quite well. There is some hops to help balance the beer out but it is rather minimal. The mouthfeel is quite heavy, almost like motor oil. Everything about this beer is just world class and I would say i prefer this over the regular oak aged yeti.
