Espresso Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout is a new addition to the Yeti clan. A generous infusion of Denver’s own Pablo’s espresso adds yet another layer of complexity to this beer, combining with the vanilla oak character, intense roasty maltiness and bold hop profile to create a whole new breed of mythical creature. It’s official, you can now have Yeti with breakfast.

Jet black pour, darker tan head. Aroma is amazing, roasty, chocolate, vanilla and caramel. Very hoppy, lots of choclate, slightly smoky and bitter finish.

650ml bottle from Systembolaget. Black with a tan, big, creamy head that stays long and leaves a lot of lacing. Proper coffee aroma, like pushing your nose down a coffee grinder, fresh roasted espresso beans, strong coffee, oak, dark chocolate. Low carbonated, very creamy and slightly bitter, rough, chewy mouthfeel, full body. The flavor is deep and complex, oily espresso beans, oak, vanilla, marshmallow. Finish bitter with espresso beans and dark chocolate.

650ml bottle enjoyed @ home. Pours pitch black with a dark brown head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is lots cold coffee, some espresso, roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla, earthy, wood and a little tobacco. Flavour is slightly sweet and medium bitter. Full bodied, very smooth and oily texture, soft carbonation. Finish is coffee, roasted malt, a little acidic from the coffee. Really good coffee stout.

Similar to its other oak aged yeti cousins, but with a distinctive flavor of coffee. Very well done.

Very dark brown, with a thick, frothy light brown head. Aroma of coffee, vanilla. Initial sweetness with a little coffee bitterness. Creamy feel. Very nice.

650ml bottle. Black color with brown head. Roasted malty aroma, lot of coffee, chocolate, light dark fruits, light vanilla, some wood and hop notes. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Full almost creamy body with soft carbonation.

22 oz bottle shares with Spencer. 2013 vintage. The pour is a nice black with a dark khaki colored foamy head with some great lace. The aroma is a little more reserved than I would expect. There is a strong oak and subtle coffee. Chocolate malts and a light alcohol twinge make up most of the back end. There is is a light dark fruit and tobacco combo that I like. The flavor is surprisingly disappointing. There is a lot of toast and minimal oak and coffee. The coffee doesn't make much of a presence at all, but that could be from age. It's bitter and roasty, like a stout should be, but I was hoping for more. The mouth feel is excellent. The carbonation is soft and velvety and helps it stick around and cling. The aftertaste is lingeringly boozy and bitter. I just wish the coffee made more of a difference ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Dark pour with a thin mocha head. Coffee, oak, cream and earth. Medium body but fullness and bitterness continues throughout until long finish. Really nice

Bottle. Pours a thick black with a mocha head. Smells of coffee, roasted malts, earthy/herbal hops. Strong flavors of coffee and roasted malts. Starts lightly bitter, though the bitterness builds the more I drink. Medium+ to full bodied; thick and creamy; carbonation is soft. Lasting bitter finish.
