Pours black with a espresso coloured head.
"Musty" aroma with loads of dark chocolate and roasted malt, some liquorice.
Taste has dark chocolate, liqueur drenched raisins and plums, liquorice, loads of roasted malt, not very much coffee though. Might be the age.
Full body, low carbonation. Super smooth and soft mouth feel.
Long bitter, chocolatey after taste.
While a bit to expensive compared to regular Yeti, the variants are always a great treat!

Bottle: Dark as hell; black, black, black, with a surprisingly voluptuous head for an imperial stout... Dark, leathery tan foam that chunks up nicely & lasts over half the glass. Aroma has lovely notes of bittersweet chocolate, cream, oily coffee beans, & intensely roasted malts... Beautiful undercurrent of sugary sweetness to balance the mild aromas of char & roast. Bittersweet cocoa is the first thing to hit the palate, followed closely by deep notes of fresh coffee. An epic battle between sweet dark chocolate morsels & roasted, oily coffee beans lasts from start to finish. A cup of rich, French pressed espresso mixed with a liquid Godiva dark chocolate bar. Faint touch of cream & a kiss of figs lingers in the after taste alongside the beans. Rich, chewy, creamy, lovely body on this one. Simply a delicious stout, for chocolate & coffee lovers alike. Couldn’t get enough of this one.

En cuanto abres la botella y la sirves te das cuenta de que es una gran cerveza. Cae a borbotones, como si fuera betún. Absolutamente negra, con una espuma oscura y de persistencia media. Aroma a madera, cacao y torrefacto, postgusto muy largo y agradable, te llena la boca y se hacer extraordinariamente bebible. AL final, caco, y vainilla. Excepcional

looks like what you are faced with in the office when the coffee pot was left on overnight, you add water and get black liquid with brown foam on top. smells a hell of a lot better though, mostly heavily roasted bean with cooking chocolate, roasted cereal.mouthfeel is medium-full, sweeter than I drink my coffee.

Bottle from 16 Tons Taphouse, Eugene. Bottled 12/18/2012. Pours an opaque brown/black, decent amount of tan head. Aroma roasty, decent amount of coffee and maybe some chocolate, woody overtones. Maye some syrupy fruity notes, too. Body full and roasty, with a big woody character that gives a lasting bitterness. Tremendous.

Bottle 2014. Poured pitch black with minimal head. Aromas of espresso and chocolate. Espresso on the forefront with a mild chocolate following. Dry and bitter finish.

Had off draft at wob cap hill. Very dark black. Chocolate aroma. Sips creamy and slightly hop bitter with espresso middle and finish. Alcohol flavor is perfectly balanced with the big hop and cocoa/coffee sweetness. Prob my favorite imperial stout since Sam Smith, which I def have to revisit to compare.

22oz 2013 bottle - poured a oily black with a bright tan head, looks gorgeous. First thing that hits your nose is huge nutty fruity coffee. Flavors are perfect; toffee vanilla and a sort a burnt roastiness followed by a rich chewy body rounded out by some acidity from the coffee. This is a fantastic espresso stout and ages well.
