COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Espresso Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout is a new addition to the Yeti clan. A generous infusion of Denver’s own Pablo’s espresso adds yet another layer of complexity to this beer, combining with the vanilla oak character, intense roasty maltiness and bold hop profile to create a whole new breed of mythical creature. It’s official, you can now have Yeti with breakfast.

Suggested food pairings: Breakfast burrito, eggs Benedict, hash browns, cheesecake, creme brulee.

Bottle. Gift from SJ. Nice wood, chocolate and coffee aroma. The flavors are the same, but with splashes of vanilla, pine, hop and roast. The blend was good, and the body full. I liked it a lot.

What an amazing beer. Pours black with a large brownish head. Aroma full of coffee, roasted malts, chocolate an some oak. Flavour wasn’t much different to that but the coffee flavour through this is superb! At this moment this is the best beer I have had.

Pours black with a huge tan head. The aroma was a mix of fresh coffee, oak and bourbon. The flavour much the same but the fresh roasted coffee was a huge point. Amazing beer.

Dark black body with a dark brown head. Aroma is malty, chocolate, coffee, roasted,wood. Taste is sweet and medium bitter. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Very nice.

Lovely smell of coffee and lots of smoke. Jet black with a nice, but thin brownish head. Tastes of smokey espresso, roasted malts and fruit. Slightly oily texture. Maybe the best coffee stout I have had.

Pours a dark mahogany brown with fluffy tan head. Aromas of coffee, chocolate, and some woody notes. Flavors of chocolate, coffee, and hints of tobacco. Astringent bitter dry finish.

UPDATED: JUL 9, 2016 Bottled 12/20/11 - 4.5 years of aging in my cellar! Dominate aromas of bittersweet chocolate and coffee, with slight plum and faint fruity esters. Maybe a little over-aged aromas in it. Black with brown highlights that starts as a full brown head and recedes to a collar of multiple sized bubbles and wisps across the top. Flavor is chocolate and cold coffee dominated. Rich, well structured alcohol and malt add support. Chocolate becomes more pronounced as it warms. Bitter chocolate aftertaste and the chocolate lingers long throughout the mouth. Moderate high bittering. Alcohol hidden behind the flavor. Faint vanilla and slight tannic aspects may be the only aspect of the new oak present. Wonderful after all these years.
